And what do you do with garlic chives? Add them to Salami & Eggs

I have allowed my idol Mimi Sheraton and her 1,000 Foods to eat before you die, to get me to branch out a bit on breakfast.  She has a suggestion of making a traditional Jewish pancake called Salami & Eggs.  Basically, this is really nice salami sausage that has been sliced and browned to perfection and then layered every so lovingly into a beaten egg dish. I am always trying to get some veggies into my diet so I added some diced tomatoes, green onions and another ingredient-garlic chives.  Now a garlic chive is something I also just discovered thanks to Mimi. They look much more like a blade of grass than a chive and they do require a bit more cooking but they add tremendous flavor.  This is not a bad breakfast options.  I have several more breakfast options I need to try from Mimi’s book-Hang Town Fry, Kaiserschmarren and Chiu Chow Oyster Omelet.
