Seattle Starbuck’s Reserve
There are Starbucks-even really, really, nice Starbucks and then there is the Starbucks Reserve. This is a difficult place to capture in words and I think everyone who ever visits Seattle should just go there and experience it themselves. It is a bar, a coffee shot, am upscale deli, a place to purchase merchandise (albeit very UPSCALE merchandise). Let me just say, I was in love.
I had a bicerin for my coffee (an Italian hazelnut coffee that is one of the 1000 things to eat) and a squash/goat cheese/granola salad along with a green olive bread stick. There is artisan sandwiches and pizza, desserts of all sorts and some of the most amazing looking salads.
Everything in the Reserve is shiny (bronze) and made with wood and GLEAMS. Most, if not all of the hotels I have stayed in are not as nice as the Reserve.
The only real down side is many people feel the same way as I do and they were always ahead of me to buy coffee or food. I found this a minor inconvenience.
The only other down side is I don’t live in Seattle. AHHHHH.
