Karelian Pastry: Rice filled Rye Pastries from Finnland
I love learning about something new. While making Grittibanz, Monika introduced us to a Finnish dish called Karelian Pastry or Pies which are small little open pies with rice filling. The crust is made from Rye flour and the end result is eaten warm with melted butter. Want to learn more?
