A Perfect Day in New York: Red Rooster, Harlem, Alvin Ailey & Hadestown
One of the places I have always wanted to visit was the Red Rooster. A restaurant created by Marcus Samuelsson, the Sunday Gospel Brunch has been high on my list of things to see. This trip, Elena and I took a tour of Harlem, complete with a visit to a Baptist Church had brunch at the Red Rooster and then took a West African Dance class at the extension program of the Alvin Ailey School of dance followed by seeing Hadestown. It was a perfect New York Day.
