Elena made Madelines (which are, of course, a 1000 Thing)

The plague has Elena beginning to bake… A few nights ago she whipped up the nicest batch of madeleine cookies. These are, of course, a 1000 Food item as per Mimi Sheraton.  I really don’t love madeleines but Elena used a lot of lemon zest and these were amazing.  I guess the plague has been good for baking.
