Taiyaki: Oceanside’s Fugu & Taiyaki Ice Cream

So after having had oral surgery and only being able to eat food that has a baby food texture, I figured ice cream was a good bet and nice change from pureed potatoes.  Andrew, Elena and I went to Oceanside to Fugu Taiyaki Ice Cream to have some soft serve in a fish cone.  According to the internet, the fish cone is a Korean specialty and the flavors of most Taikaki stores are Asian:  Matcha, Taro, Red Bean, etc.  I loved the one in Oceanside as they also had Mexican based flavors.  I had Horchata and Nutella.  Yum. I couldn’t eat the cone but scooped the Nutella from inside of it before passing it off to Andrew.
